Chapter 9 Part 15

“Let’s write an action sequence,” Matt said. “Let’s rachet up the tension, go full tilt, and slam the foot on the gas!”

“Okay,” I said. “Let’s do it! What do we got to work with?”

“Um, some hummingbirds.”

“Hummingbirds, you say.”

“Oh, and a teapot.” He said. “Almost forgot the teapot.”

“Okay,” I said. “Okay. I think we can work with that.”

Thus was born what you see above. And all I have to say is . . . we can’t wait to see what you think of the teapot.

In other news, still working up the con reports. I’m really hoping to have them ready this week. Why it takes so long to write up a con report is, honestly, unexplainable.

OK, the hummingbirds in the first panel are sheer genius - angry and with a real sense of motion. Bravo.

why thank you! always glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed the art. i had the good fortune to witness some hummingbird activities up close this past weekend (none were angry, luckily). no sign of the red heron, though.
